We’ve designed this workshop to be meaningful for everyone—whether you’re completely new to meditation or have years of experience. You’ll explore a variety of techniques and approaches, both through direct practice and through understanding the deeper theory behind them.
It’s a chance not only to experience the effects of meditation, but to expand your perspective and discover new dimensions in your personal practice.

This workshop offers more than just meditation techniques—it’s an invitation to begin building a deeper relationship with yourself. Through a balanced combination of practice and theory, you’ll not only experience meditation, but also understand how it works as a powerful tool for self-discovery and inner growth.

Not at all. The workshop includes a mix of sitting meditations, movement meditation, guided sessions, explanation and group discussions. It’s dynamic, varied, and engaging.

Please dress comfortably or bring a change of clothes that allow you to sit and move comfortably for extended periods. Loose clothing is preferable to ensure proper blood circulation.

We’ll supply mattresses, meditation pillows, and blankets for your comfort throughout the sessions, but of course you can bring your own meditation pillow of you prefer.
As for meals, you’re encouraged to bring your own pre-prepared food, which can be easily heated in the microwave available at the Academy.

Approach the weekend with an open mind. The more receptive you are, the richer your experience will be.

It’s beneficial to plan your personal schedule for the two days in a way that after the workshop, you avoid meeting friends or going to noisy places. Instead, aim to maintain a meditative, tranquil state to allow the experience to settle within you.

The workshop takes place at the JIAIDO Academy, the heart and home of the International JIAIDO Association.

Located in Budapest’s 13th district, the Academy is our Meditation Center, dedicated to inner growth, conscious movement, and meditation.

Easily accessible by metro and bus, it’s a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city—designed to support your journey inward.
