Not at all. JIAIDO is open to everyone—whether you’re completely new to meditation and movement practices or have years of experience. We offer different class levels, so you’ll be placed in a group that matches your experience and needs. Each session is guided with care, allowing you to grow at your own pace from exactly where you are.

In JIAIDO, we practice in white as a symbol of unity and purity. For your first class, just wear comfortable clothes that allow free movement—preferably in white or light colors. Once you decide to continue, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase your own JIAIDO practice clothing at the Academy. No special equipment is needed—we provide everything else for your practice.
Just remember to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

JIAIDO movement meditation is gentle but active. The focus is on awareness, presence, and conscious movement rather than intense physical effort. It’s suitable for most fitness levels.
To support different needs and preferences, we offer classes with varying intensity—from slower-paced sessions to more dynamic, intensive formats. After some time we can help you choose the practice that best suits your energy and experience level.

All our in-person classes are held at the JIAIDO Academy, the central space of the International JIAIDO Association, located in the heart of Budapest’s 13th district. It’s easy to reach by metro, bus, or tram, and offers a peaceful environment for deepening your practice.

Located in Budapest’s 13th district, the Academy is our Meditation Center, dedicated to inner growth, conscious movement, and meditation.

Easily accessible by metro and bus, it’s a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city—designed to support your journey inward.
