What Makes JIAIDO Different?

Unlike many other movement or meditation practices, JIAIDO was specifically developed for the modern human experience by Ajiit, a spiritual teacher and the founder of both JIAIDO and Mauna House.

It draws inspiration from traditional martial arts — but without fighting or competition. It’s often called an inner martial art: an internal path that strengthens awareness, presence, and compassion.

JIAIDO meets you where you are — no need for flexibility, athletic skills, or experience. What matters is your intention to come closer to yourself.

Anyone! You don’t need any previous experience with movement, meditation, or self-development practices. These classes are specifically designed for beginners — for those who are curious about JIAIDO and would like to experience it in a gentle and supportive environment.

Unlike many other practices, JIAIDO brings together movement, breath, and attention in a very specific way. It’s a system developed by spiritual teacher Ajiit, based on inner martial art principles — without any combat. It’s not about performance or form, but about connecting with yourself from the inside.

JIAIDO is a gentle yet deep practice. It doesn’t require strength, flexibility, or endurance — instead, it invites awareness, presence, and connection to your body. You move at your own pace, with guidance.

We recommend coming twice a week, if possible. Like any meaningful inner work, regularity is key — the more consistent you are, the deeper the experience becomes. This is not a quick fix, but a path of reconnecting with yourself.

Wear comfortable clothes you can move in, light colours, preferably white. You’ll be practicing barefoot, so no special shoes are needed. Please bring a bottle of water to remain hydrated.
